My name is Charun Stone, I am a photographer local to the Yukon, in love with our abundant gifts of nature, on the ground and above.
I find myself connected to the land in the north, I thrive on the ever changing seasons we experience and the extremes that follow them. In the summer I spend time learning what our forests have to offer, in the winter, I chase the beloved Aurora, I am proud to share my work here.
Aurora Borealis
One of my absolute favourite things to capture in winter, is the beauty of the night sky. The aurora inspires many hearts and minds, it ignites passion and wonder. I never tire of its beauty, and magic.

Wildlife
We certainly have some of the most wild and majestic creatures roaming our vast woods and mountains. From the great grizzly bear, to the fleeting caribou, the living beings here run free with natures grace.

The Yukon Sun
In this land of rugged terrain and mountainous beauty, we have some of the most incredible shows of light. Our ever changing days, from 24 hour sun, to dark winter allows for all sorts of interesting forms of sunlight.

Scenery
One must stop to appreciate the heart of what makes the Yukon, the Yukon, it is the land. The habitat, greatly varied, from slow flowing creeks laden in flowers, to mountains with rugged stones and tundra, to the flush colours of autumn, its beauty is endless.
